Victoria Havel at North Carolina music colloquium, 2003. |
A musician since age three, Victoria Havel has mastered the art of improvisation.
While playing the Native American flute, however, she takes it a step beyond improv. Victoria Havel does not pre-compose or plan any of the music she plays on native flute for any of her recordings or performances.
"I simply open up inwardly as a channel to Spirit and allow the music to come," she says.
The result is a totally spontaneous performance from the heart. "Spirit Flute" is her first CD.
